Western Cape Kayak Angling Club
Welcome to the WCKAC.
We’re a club of likeminded fisherman fishing off our kayaks in the Western Cape Province.
The club hosts a catch of the month competition running every month where members vote for the winner. During the year we run the bigger Grand Slam competition where various species caught in our waters contribute to points and ultimately a Grand Slam winner is awarded. Included is a couple of social events, skills clinics and more. It’s a club so we all work together to grow the sport, become better fishermen, be more conservation aware and have fun as a group.
Membership is open to all, just be a cool guy/girl and you’ll be welcomed with open arms.

Grand Slam Points System and Rules
1 point for every CM over the DAFF minimum size, plus Base Points. Minimum size of 35cm FORK LENGTH applied for all submissions.1 multiplier per species. eg 3 species of 10 points each = (10 + 10 + 10) x 3 = 90 Total Release species Maximum 2 species for points with a minimum size
